Policy Overview
At SUMIYOROSHI, returns or refunds due to customer preferences are not accepted.
However, if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our error, we will gladly provide a return or refund.
When the same item is in stock, we will arrange an exchange. If it is sold out, a full refund will be issued.
Return Period & Conditions

Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the item.

Opened packages are acceptable, provided the item is unused.

All tags, packaging, and accessories must be included.

If your item is damaged or defective, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and attach clear photos of the issue.

Returns for customer reasons (size, color/imagery preference, change of mind, etc.) cannot be accepted.
Return Procedure
To begin a return, please contact us through our inquiry form before sending any items back.
We will issue a Return Authorization (RMA number).
All returns must be shipped to our facility in Kyoto, Japan.
Please use a trackable shipping method (carrier of your choice).
Shipping & Cost Responsibility

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

For defective or incorrect items, SUMIYOROSHI will cover all return shipping costs.

For international returns, we will also cover any duties, taxes, or return shipping fees incurred.
Refund Method & Timing
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue the refund within 7 business days.
All payment processing fees are covered by us.
Partial refunds are not offered.
Special Cases

All shipments include insurance. In the event of loss or theft during transit, we will issue a full refund.

If you receive an incorrect item, we will arrange an exchange or full refund after issuing an RMA.

For gifts (orders shipped to a third party), returns are only accepted for initial defects reported within 24 hours of delivery.
International Orders

The above policy applies equally to all international shipments.

Duties and import taxes are also included in the refundable amount.

For orders shipped to EU countries, we comply with applicable local laws and consumer protection regulations, including cooling-off rights.
